Webjet and skyscanner are fantastic websites for comparing flights from a range of airlines. It won't take you long to figure out which airline is offering the cheapest flight to your destination. Keep in mind that purchasing through these sites will most likely incur a fee. For purchasing, I recommend using the airlines website.

Book flights ahead to save money

Too many times I hear of friends who have booked their flights within a fortnight of their departure. Where possible, book flights ahead of time. Booking flights 2-3 months ahead of departure should generally keep that extra cash in your pockets.
